In 2016, I was hospitalized with pneumonia and placed in a medically induced coma for three weeks. After being transferred to an ICU, I developed acute respiratory distress syndrome and was given about a 20% chance of survival. When I finally woke, doctors told me I would never work again.

But I’ve always been an entrepreneur at heart, and “never” wasn’t an option.

Before my coma, I was running two online businesses built from my love of creating passive income for financial freedom—and teaching others to do the same.

One was CleverDoughCakes, where I shared fun cake-decorating ideas with fellow cake enthusiasts through my online e-book, so I could bake and decorate once and earn over and over again instead of trading hours for dollars.

The other was CleverDoughKids, inspired by my own two kiddos, where I helped parents teach their children about money and entrepreneurship so they could raise confident, capable, financially independent kids ready to thrive beyond the nest.

When I was strong enough to get back on my computer, I discovered something that changed my life: while I’d been fighting for my next breath, a handful of YouTube videos I’d posted years earlier for those two businesses had continued driving sales for me—completely on autopilot..

...Sales from my eBooks, online courses, affiliate recommendations and ad revenue. They weren’t earning millions, just a few hundred dollars a month, but that steady trickle of income gave me hope, dignity, and proof that passive systems were possible.

I realized that everything else in my business would have died without my constant input—but those few videos kept working because I had, purely by accident, aligned them with what both the algorithm and the audience wanted.

During my years of recovery, I became obsessed with understanding why. I studied the psychology, the SEO, the viewer behavior, and the patterns behind what made certain videos quietly sell day and night.

That curiosity became my mission: to turn what had happened accidentally into an

intentional, repeatable system—one that could give anyone the same peace of mind I found.

Today I teach entrepreneurs how to build marketing systems that keep generating leads and revenue 24/7, giving them the freedom, security, and impact they deserve.
